A man in China thought he bought two black puppies, but realized they were actually black bears two years after purchasing them.<\/p>\n
According to China.org.cn<\/a>, Banana farmer, Wang Kaiyu, bought the \u2018puppies\u2019 back in 2013 in Vietnam, describing them as: \u201cVery lively, not picky about food and friendly with human beings\u201d.<\/p>\n Wang loved the two creatures very much and is even reported to have bathed\u00a0them each day, as well as comb their hair.<\/p>\n There were a few instances where he thought something was not quite right though \u2013\u00a0like when the two ‘dogs’ would come home with a slaughtered, half eaten chicken.<\/p>\n When Wang noticed a wildlife protection poster put up by his local police, he finally realized his \u2018dogs\u2019 were, in fact, Asian Black Bears.<\/p>\n As a result, the bears were sent to a rescue centre where they are said to be doing well, each weighing approximately 50kg (110lb).<\/p>\n You can read more about the incident on the China.org.cn Twitter page:<\/p>\n ‘Cute black puppies’ raised by villager for two years turn out endangered black bears http:\/\/t.co\/rdJS7sgKQA<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/dZg7Cdyvcz<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 China.org.cn (@chinaorgcn) July 2, 2015<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n
