An interactive artist in New York used 450 stuffed toy penguins to replicate and mirror the movement of visitor’s coming to the gallery.

Artist, Daniel Rozin, has made a mirror installation made entirely from stuffed toy penguins. The project is called “Descent with Modification” and is being displayed at New York’s bitforms gallery.

The penguin toys are, of course, black on one side and white on the other, and are attached to revolving bases, which allow them to rotate. There is then a camera feed that tells the penguin to rotate, reflecting the movements of the visitor, as they walk by.
