A squirrel who helped himself to a large supply of nuts left out for the birds, crawled into a woman’s Honda Civic and stashed them into the various compartments of her car engine.
Upon realizing that something was not quite right when she could not exceed 40 miles per hour, the car owner took her car to the garage and what she found was nuts!
The mechanic, David Evans, reports, “It was rammed solid with nuts. I’ve been doing this job for 18 years and I’ve never seen anything like it. I couldn’t believe it”.
The mechanics spent an hour removing the nuts from the engine and filled half of a plastic grocery bag with the sneaky stash.
Whilst they can’t pin the crime on a specific woodland creature, the mechanics are pretty sure it was a squirrel.
