A pet pig in Dorset, England, by the name of ‘Pigwig’, was heroically rescued by a fleet of firefighters after falling into his owners’ swimming pool.

Three different crews were sent to the scene, including one that specializes in animal rescue. They had to use rescue boards and various lines to liberate the quarter-of-a-ton animal from the eight-foot-deep water.

DC East Forset FRS published the incredible photos on Twitter, stating: “Crews Ferndown with specialist animal rescue team from Poole rescuing ‘pigwig’ the pig who fell into a swimming pool”.
