Couple Says “I Do” In the Easter Egg Aisle of Morrison’s

Rebecca Wooller, aged 44, and Blake Green, aged 53, got married in the Easter Egg Aisle of Morrison’s in Cambourne, Cambridgeshire where they had their first evening out together.

The couple’s first date consisted of a chicken curry dinner at the café in Morrison’s and explained that the venue had “sentimental memories” to them. They admitted, however, that perhaps they were as “mad as a box of frogs” for choosing it as a wedding venue.

The bride said she would walk down the aisle (literally) that sold Easter Eggs to ‘Love is an Open Door’ from the Disney film, Frozen.

The reception was held in the café within the supermarket and consisted of the same chicken curry the couple ate on their first date.

Blake added, “Morrisons have basically done all the planning for us and we’ve just invited anyone who wants to, to turn up”.

Supermarket Overhead Announcement: Today you’ll find 2-for-1 strawberries in the fruit and vegetable aisle, as well as half priced Easter eggs and the Wooller/Green wedding in Aisle 3.
